Canons Wood Environmental Work Party

Impress the Chess is leading on an environmental project in Canons Wood (next to The Moor) with working parties on the 16th and 21st January and they are looking for volunteers. Thanks to funding from Tesco Bags of Help and Chesham Connect, volunteers will be installing dog steps along the river bank, which will enable our furry friends to continue to enjoy a dip, whilst protecting the bank from erosion. There will also be in stream work to improve the river habitat. The work parties will commence at 9.30am both days. You will need outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear to take part; waders are great if you have them.
