Designed to Inspire

Chess Designs has been developing and marketing exclusive soft furnishing and upholstery fabrics since 1995.  Based in the Chess Business Park, this family-run business draws the inspiration for its innovative and exciting collections from sources ranging from Mackintosh and Art Nouveau to the historic houses of the Chiltern Hills.

Nigel Jonwood, the owner of Chess Designs, will explain the inspiration behind the company itself and tell us what is involved in designing, producing and marketing the fine fabrics that are sold both here and overseas.  This will be a pleasant and relaxed occasion.  Nigel will be bringing plenty of fabric samples and questions can be posed throughout the evening.

Tea, coffee and wine will be available until 8pm.

Tickets are sold at the door, priced £1 for members and £2 for guests.
