Special People, Spectacular Sites – an evening with the Chiltern Society

The Chiltern Society is one of the oldest, largest and most active regional amenity charities in the UK.  In its dedicated work to protect and enhance the character and enjoyment of the Chilterns, the Society has taken on the care of twelve spectacular or significant sites, one of which is Captain’s Wood on the edge of Chesham.   All offer enticing Autumn walks, right on our doorstep.  Trustee Jane Peel will be talking to Chesham Society members and visitors about these sites and the wider aims and activities of the Chiltern Society’s White Hill Centre team, members and volunteers who work to keep the Chilterns special.   Everyone is welcome: to be sure of a place, please email programme@cheshamsociety.org.uk.
