Book your places now to take part in The Great Chesham Pancake Race!
Did you know that in the 1980s there were annual Pancake Races in Chesham?
We’ve decided it is time for a revival of this great tradition. But instead of being a solo sprint, its now for teams of four who will run a relay race but instead of a baton, they will pass a frying pan and pancake, each runner stopping to toss the pancake twice. The winners of each heat will go on to the next round, building up to the final race. All for the honour of being the winners of The Great Chesham Pancake Race 2023!
Frying pans and pancakes (don’t eat them!) for the race will be provided.
Sign up now via The Elgiva website! You can enter a team, or as a solo and we will match you up with teammates on the day. Families, friends, businesses are all welcome.
Registration from 10:30am. Races start at 11am.
But if you don’t want to take part – just come along to watch and cheer your favourites home!
