Annual General Meeting (and other General Meetings)

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in October but should this not be possible, there should be no more than 15 months between AGMs.


The business of the AGM includes:
a) presentation of the Annual Report and Accounts by the Executive Committee
b) appointment of an Auditor
c) election/re-election of honorary officers to the Executive Committee
d) determination of the membership subscription, if any
e) review of an agreement to any proposed constitutional changes
f) presentation of the Annual Business Plan for the forthcoming year
g) reports by recipients of small grants from Chesham Connect in the preceding year

The quorum for the AGM is a minimum of 10 members. If the meeting is not quorate a Special General Meeting (SGM) will be called.

Special General Meetings
The Executive Committee may call an SGM of Chesham Connect at any time. If at least ten members request such a meeting in writing stating the business to be considered, a meeting will be called. At least 21 days notice must be given and the notice must state the business to be discussed.
